Airmic have created a conference app for its delegates attending the 2012 annual conference in Liverpool on the 11th – 13th June. We expect over 700 delegates to attend the conference this year and the app will be made available to all delegates during the lead up until the event. This app will be FREE to download. We will make this app live at the beginning of May.
The main functions of this app are:
- To search and message anyone on the delegate list (who has downloaded the app), this includes messaging Airmic member delegates
- To search, message and locate all of the exhibitors within the exhibition hall
- To view the general conference programme in detail and view their own personal programme specific to each delegate
- To hold maps of the conference centre and exhibition hall
- A Google map facility which enables users to do postcode searches from the conference centre to any of the receptions, hotels, restaurants or bars in Liverpool
- To keep up to date with the most recent conference twitter feeds
The app will be available for all 3 smart phone platforms: iPhone, Android and blackberry and we will market this app on the Airmic website, conference website, conference brochure, delegate programme and by email notifications to all delegates.

Standard Listing:
All exhibitors will have a standard listing in the app. The app will list all exhibitors’ company name, stand number, type of service provider and their location on the exhibition hall map.
*Premium Listing:
The premium listing comes at a cost £300 plus vat, which includes all of the above and the below:
- Profile Page – you can set up a profile page on the app which includes a max of 100 words of your choice. You can include URL links.Logo – you can have a colour logo on the profile page
- Message – there will be an exhibitor message button on the profile page so that delegates can send you a message. You will then be able to receive and reply to messages in your inbox once logged into the phone app.
- Website – Your website address will be displayed on the profile screen
- Stand Activity page – You will have the option to include details about what is happening on your stand at the conference, maximum number of words is 100. You can include URL links if you wish.

How the app will be advertised
- On the Airmic and conference websites
